DRY DAY IN KERALA

Today e-news is discussing about Dry Day in Kerala on 16-05-2021.

In Kerala as part of National Dengue Day, Government has observed today as Dry Day. People need to find some time for cleaning the houses, public places, surroundings and remove not flowing or blocked water bodies in order to stop the spread of Dengue disease.

We know that the amount of rainfall is increasing day by day and the monsoon season is coming. In order to reduce the spread of Dengue fever, Government has conducting dry day today.

Dengue fever is mostly spread by mosquitoes which has been found in and around our premises. Some houses roof top is blocked with some particles and their is more chance for water blockage. This help the mosquitoes to lay eggs and generate more mosquitoes. So, people need to clear and ensure that their rooftops, tares, sunshade and surroundings not give chance for spreading mosquitoes.

Aedes mosquitoes spread Dengue virus. The Dengue disease is spread from one person to another person through mosquitoes. The symptoms of dengue disease is viral fever, headache, pain in various parts of the body etc.
