PRICE OF 'ESSENTIAL ITEMS' IS FIXED

Kerala state government has fixed the prices of 'Essential Items'  in medical use such as sanitizers, PPE(Personal Protective Equipment) Kits and masks. Declared the above mentioned items as 'Essential Items', to ensure these items availability and prevent overpricing.

The Government fixed the price of these items in order to reduce the compliant regarding the overpricing and to reduce black marketing. It also reduce the profiteering of private companies during the Covid period.

The Government issued price list of 'Essential Items' are listed below:

PPE Kit: Rs 273

N95 Mask: Rs 22

Triple Layer mask: Rs 3.90

Face Shield: Rs 21

Apron(disposable): Rs 12

Surgical gown: Rs 65

Examination glove: Rs 5.75

Sanitiser(500 ml): Rs 192

Sanitiser(200 ml): Rs 98

Sanitiser(100 ml): Rs 55

Sterile gloves(pair): Rs 15

NRB mask: Rs 80

Oxygen mask: Rs 54

Flowmeter(humidifier): Rs 1520

Fingertip oximeter: Rs 1500
