COVID 19 VACCINATION FOR THE AGE GROUP 18 TO 44
Today e-news is discussing about Covid 19 vaccination for the age category 18-44 in comorbid condition.
The vaccination for persons above 45 years is ongoing. Covid19 vaccination will be made available for people in the age group 18-44( as on 1st January 2022) with comorbid conditions(comorbid condition means when a person has more than one underlying health-related problems present in them at once) based on priority from 17th May 2021. The government issued list of specified comorbidities are:

STEPS TO FOLLOW
1) For vaccination register visit the website:
2) For availing priority go to
https://covid19.kerala.gov.in/vaccine/
3) Enter your personal details and attach medical certificate as a proof of your comorbid condition.
4) After verification of your details by the district authorities , you will receive a SMS which involves details related with venue, date and time of vaccination and it is based on the priority of your comorbid condition and availability of vaccine.
5) Show the appointment SMS, ID proof and comorbid certificate in vaccination center and get vaccinated.
As per the direction from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
COVISHIELD : The second dose of vaccine can be taken between 12 and 16 weeks after receiving the first dose.
COVAXIN: The second dose of vaccine can be taken between 28 and 42 days after receiving the first dose.
