WHAT IS DIGITAL HEALTH ID CARD?

Digital Health ID Card is a unique ID Card in which the medical history of each Indian will be stored and find out digitally. This Health ID Card is announced by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi under National Digital Health Mission. 

The Digital Health ID Card is introduced under the programme 'Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission'. This programme is firstly introduced in Union Territories and after that it is launched in all over India. After the registration the user will get 14 digit Health ID Number and PHR(Personal Health Records) address. The medical facilities can be availed on the basis of the Health ID number.  


HOW TO REGISTER FOR DIGITAL HEALTH CARD THROUGH ONLINE? 

User's can follow the steps mentioned below for getting Digital Health Card within minutes.


1.First of all Enter the website: healthid.ndhm.gov.in/register.

2. Go to the head 'Generate Your Health ID'.

3. There are two options for the users: The user can register through either by giving Aadhar card or by giving mobile number.

4. If the user is registering using mobile number, you will have to enter your mobile number.

5. Then an OTP is generated and received in your given mobile number.

6. Enter the OTP and click the 'Submit' button.

7. After that the user need to enter the following details which is visible in the screen and also need to upload your photo.

8. The user need to enter the PHR(Personal Health Records) address and a password. PHR address is some what similar like an e-mail user ID.

9. Once the registration is completed, the user will get a 14 digit Health ID number and PHR address which can be seen in the the Digital Health Card.

10. Finally, the user can then download it.
